Intercity STC bus catches fire in Kumasi

A bus owned by Intercity STC Coaches Limited caught fire on Friday, December 22, near the Asafo Interchange in Kumasi.

The bus, en route from Accra to Kumasi, was reportedly carrying only 12 passengers at the time of the incident, as most had already disembarked.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, but reports indicate that the bus was on its way to the Asafo Yard for parking when the fire broke out.

Emergency services responded to the scene to manage the situation.
