Nana Yaa Jantuah, the former Public Relations and External Affairs Director of the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC), has made a shocking revelation about her treatment during her arrest and detention by the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI), now known as the National Intelligence Bureau.
Jantuah alleges that she was subjected to humiliating treatment, including being stripped naked, during the ordeal. This incident occurred on May 12, 2017, when both she and Samuel Sarpong, the Executive Secretary of the PURC, were summoned by the BNI for questioning.
The revelation sheds light on the severe and degrading conditions she experienced during her time in custody, raising serious concerns about the treatment of individuals under investigation by national security agencies.
