The Red Crosses of Switzerland beat the Red and Whites Eagles in their final Group G game in an all European clash on Friday night in Qatar at the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament.

Switzerland secured their spot in the 2022 World Cup Round of 16 as they beat Serbia 3-2 in a thrilling finale to Group G.

Both sides turned in their best 45 minutes of the competition thus far in the first half, as goals from Xherdan Shaqiri, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Dusan Vlahovic and Breel Embolo tied the contest at 2-2 at the break.
