John Dramani Mahama, the Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has issued a strong warning against any efforts to manipulate the upcoming elections, emphasizing the party’s firm commitment to protecting the integrity of the polls.

Speaking at the NDC’s final rally at Zurak Park in Madina on Thursday, December 5, 2024, Mahama called on electoral authorities, the security forces, and the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to uphold democratic values and ensure a transparent election process.

“I want to caution the NPP administration, the security services, and all those involved in overseeing this election. I urge you to resist the harmful actions that some individuals are planning,” he warned.

Addressing the people of Ghana, Mahama assured them that the NDC would stand together with them at the polling stations. “We will be there to monitor the process and will bravely protect our votes, resisting any efforts to steal them,” he declared.
