Ghana’s Black Stars on Tuesday, July 18,2023 at the Accra Sports Stadium defeated Guinea in the second leg of the first round of the CAF qualifiers to the 2024 Olympic games in Paris, France.

The Queens dominated their opponents as they did in the first leg last Friday evening in Conakry to secure a place in the second round of qualifiers with ease.

Former Sekondi Hasaacas FC player Evelyn Badu grabbed the opening goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 to send the few home fans at the stadium into ecstacy.

Early in the second half of the match, Princella Adubea found the back of the net to make it 2-0 before Fridaus Yakubu added to the tally to make it 3-0.

Evelyn Badu grabbed her brace later on in the game to help Ghana secure a comfortable 4-0 victory and 7-0 on aggregate over the two legs.

Ghana will come up against the winner between Guinea Bissau and Benin in the next stage of the 2024 Summer Olympics in France.
