The Ministry of Education has announced the 2024/25 placement results for Senior High Schools and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.
According to a statement from the Ministry, out of the 563,339 results submitted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), 553,155 candidates qualified for placement. Of these, 447,698 candidates—representing 80.93% of those eligible—were automatically assigned to one of their selected schools.
However, the Ministry noted that 104,918 qualified candidates were not matched with any of their chosen schools. For these students, the Ministry encourages them to use the Self-Placement platform to select a school.
To check their placement, eligible students should visit the official CSSPS website at https://www.cssps.gov.gh or https://www.cssps.org. They need to enter their ten-digit index number followed by their completion year (for example, 123456789024 for 2024 graduates), click the “Submit” button, and wait for their placement results to display.
Additionally, the public is informed that, “in addition to the National Solution Centre at the GNAT Hall, Adabraka, Accra, and ALL the 16 Regional Solution Centres, they can call our helpline on 0308258001 for all concerns.”
