414 new cases take Ghana’s COVID-19 tally to 24,248

At least 414 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded, taking Ghana’s total tally to 24,248.

According to the Ghana Health Service, the recoveries have shot up to 19,831 with the death toll still remaining at 135 in its Sunday, July 12, 2020.

“A total of 414 new cases were reported on July 8, 2020. These are samples that were taken from the period 15 June to 6 July 2020… but reported from the lab on July 8,” the GHS said.

Six patients are in a critical condition while 24 remain severe with five others on ventilators.

Upper East Region – 282

North East Region – 9
