At least five armed robbers were killed across the country in the past 48 hours in a series of special anti-robbery operation, the Ghana Police Service announced on Thursday (6 January).
Six others have also been arrested in the “intelligence-led operations carried out throughout the country”, the statement said.
The police have given assurance to Ghanaians that they are working around the clock to ensure their safety as they go about their businesses.
