A woman was knifed to death near the Seventh Day Adventist Church Thursday morning sparking fears among residents of Ampabame, a suburb of Kumasi.
The victim named only as Ataah, 50, was on her way to work just before 6 am when she was attacked by her assailants.
Officers from the Bohyen Police Station who rushed to scene found the body of the deceased lying in a supine position in a pool of blood.
She wore a multi-coloured shirt, a white shorts and a necklace.
Dailymailgh.com gathered that the victim was stabbed at the right side of her neck by her attackers after robbing her of her personal belongings.
Her body has since been conveyed and deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue for preservation.
Investigations have started, officers at the Bohyen Police Station told dailymailgh.com.
The late Ataah was a caterer in a local primary school at Adoato in the Bantama Constituency until she met her untimely death.
