AC Horoya Ghanaian defender Godfred Asante says they are prepared for their CAF Champions League game on Saturday against JS Kabylie at the Stade du 1er Novembre 1954.
Asante, who was the hero in the previous round scoring the winner as the Guinean giants saw off Stade Malien, insists they are well equipped for the game and are in Algeria for all the maximum points.
“We have prepared very well, both physically and mentally, as we do every game and our aim is to get the points in Algeria,” Asante told Dailymailgh.com
“The game is going to be tough, JS Kabylie used to be one of the strongest forces on the continent some years ago, they are coming back again and want to get to the Group stage of the Champions League but we are ready for them,” he said.
The former Asante Kotoko and Dreams FC defender also emphasised that as a central defender he will also love to score again as he did against Stade Malien.
“As a central defender, my job is to defend and also help my team to progress. It is also great for me to score and I will love to score more goals to help my team,” he added.
