Ghanaian winger Thomas Agyepong will play no part on Saturday when the Black Stars lock horns with reigning champions Cameroon in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Group F fixture.
The Manchester City-owned player started the opening game against Benin but was substituted early in the second half as Ghana went on to draw 2-2.
According to sources at the Black Stars camp in Ismailia, the medical team are working on Agyepong but his chances of playing are slim.
The talented winger has suffered injuries in the last few years, making him to make just 10 appearances in all competitions at Scottish outfit Hibernian where he was on loan.
