Day 2 of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations featured uncompromising underdogs and floundering favorites. Uganda and Madagascar came up with surprise results — victory over DR Congo and a draw with Guinea respectively — while debutants Burundi were just unfortunate to lose to a lone Odion Ighalo goal for Nigeria.
