Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah insists preparations the Black Stars had for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations have been the best so far.
The Black Stars camped in Dubai for nine days and played two friendly games against Namibia and South Africa before departing for Egypt.
Appiah, whose team failed to score in any of the games, is not bothered as he maintains they had a brilliant camping.
“I’ve been in several camps with the national team, over 10 campings and this is the best I’ve had,” Appiah stated at a media encounter ahead of Tuesday’s game with Benin.
“Whoever is the captain is not important, is about team work.”
Ghana are in Group F alongside Guinea Bissau, Cameroon and Benin.
