Former Black Stars striker Baba Armando Adamu has hinted that General Captain Asamoah Gyan will be the man to save Ghana against Cameroon.

Armando, who is currently the technical director of one of the lower-tier teams in Dubai mentioned that Gyan will be the match winner for the Black Stars and must play at all cost.

“Our win lies in the hands of Asamoah Gyan against Cameroon, I know what I am saying and what I have seen. Coach Kwesi Appiah must make sure he (Gyan) is on the field,” a confident Armando told Dailymailgh.com.

He added: “Ghana need Asamoah Gyan more than ever, he will save Ghana against Cameroon. He has been in the national team for 16 years and this game against Cameroon will be one of his biggest moments. Whether fit or half-fit he must play because he has the goals.”

Ghana drew 2-2 with Benin in the first game and need a win against the defending champions to edge closer to a second round berth.
