The Black Stars of Ghana put up a spirited second half performance to see off Guinea Bissau by two goals to nothing at the Army Stadium in Suez.

In-form Jordan Ayew opened the scores with a stupendous banana kick just after the break as he cut in from the left. Thomas Partey made it 2-0 in the 72nd minute after some superb work from Andre Ayew and Baba Rahman.

In the other game, Benin held defending champions Cameroon to a goalless draw in Ismailia.

Ghana ended up as Group F winners on superior goals scored aggregate followed by Cameroon and Benin.

In Group E, Haidara’s 37th minute goal proved to be the match winner as Mali defeated Angola by a lone goal. Mauritania who were just playing for pride held Tunisia also to a goalless draw.

Mali topped Group B with 7 points followed by Tunisia with three.
