AFCON Qualifiers: Ayew benched, Inaki starts as Chris Hughton names maiden Black Stars XI for Angola game

New Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton has benched Ghana captain Andre Ayew as he names his first ever starting lineup for the game against Angola today.

Arsenal star Thomas Partey will captain the team against the Palancas Negras this afternoon at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

Goalkeeper, Lawrence Ati-Zigi is maintained in goal after an average World Cup campaign with the Black Stars team in Qatar last year.

Midfielder, Edmund Addo starts for the Stars team as Dennis Odoi takes over the right-back slot.
