The family of late Ghana Black Stars footballer, Manuel Junior Agogo, has called on Ghana’s High Commissioner to the UK, Papa Owusu-Ankomah to officially brief him on preparations towards his funeral.

The family informed the High Commissioner that, the funeral service and burial are slated for Friday, September 20, 2019 at the St Mark’s church, 114 Hamilton Terrace NW8 9UT.

On behalf of the President, the Government and People of Ghana, the High Commissioner conveyed the deepest condolences to the family.

The family delegation included Mrs Jeannie Mitchen – mother of the deceased, as well as three other members.

Agogo died on August 22, 2016.

Agogo was born in Ghana but spent most of his childhood in the UK playing for the likes of Nottingham Forest, Bristol Rovers, Chesterfield FC among many others.
