President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has issued a strong warning, stating that a vote for John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming December 7 elections would be a step backward for Ghana, potentially returning the nation to a time marked by underdevelopment and hardship.

The President argued that Mahama and the NDC do not offer anything new or beneficial for the country, urging Ghanaians to reject them in the upcoming polls. He stressed that the progress achieved under his administration must continue, and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the right person to lead Ghana forward.

During a sod-cutting ceremony for the expansion of the Tema Motorway, President Akufo-Addo emphasized, “We are going forward. We are not going back to the era of stagnation and non-performance. We are going forward with [Dr. Mahamudu] Bawumia to a better, more inclusive, and more prosperous Ghana.”
