Akufo-Addo writes to Ghana’s Chief Justice after police brutalise protesting law students

Ghana’s president Nana Akufo-Addo has written to the chief justice Sophia Akuffo over concerns raised by law students regarding perennial mass failures.

During a demonstration on Monday to present a petition at the presidency, the police brutalised the students forcing them to seek refuge at the Canadian High Commission in the capital, Accra.

In order to address the age-old issue, Nana Akufo-Addo has written to the chief justice to look into their concerns.
