Belgian giants Anderlecht have opened up fresh negotiations with Ghanaian winger Francis Amuzu over a possible contract extension.
The current deal of the 19-year-old expires on June 30, 2020 and the Purple and White are keen to let him stay at the club.
Dailymailgh.com understands that talks had been ongoing for several months but it broke down before starting again as Vincent Kompany seeks the youngster to commit his future to the former Belgian champions.
Amuzu played 21 Jupiler Pro League games for Anderlecht last season scoring one goal and providing three assists as they finished 6th on the league log.
He has been a summer transfer target of Southampton, Brighton and Mainz.
