Ghana’s coach, Otto Addo, has selected four new players for the Black Stars’ squad: David Akologo from Bolivia, Ibrahim Osman from Nordsjaellands, Nathaniel Adjei from France, and Diomande Mohammed from Rangers of Scotland. These players, along with Asante Kotoko’s Frederick Asare, have impressed with their performances and earned their first call-ups to the national team.
The upcoming friendly matches, set to be held in Marrakech, Morocco, signify the start of a new era under Otto Addo’s leadership.
Tariq Lamptey, the right-back from Brighton and Hove Albion, is making a comeback to the squad after recovering from an injury that sidelined him during the Africa Cup of Nations.
Joining Lamptey are Patrick Kpozo, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, and Edmund Addo, who are returning to the team.
The squad also includes familiar faces like captain Andre Ayew, forward Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Kudus, Osman Bukari, Samed Abdul Samed, and Elisha Owusu.
