Apex signs MoUs to produce solar panels, prepaid meters in Ghana

Apex Trade Development and Finance has signed two MoUs with Ghana for health, transport, construction, and industrial projects.

The MoUs include an agreement with International Maritime United Technology and Ghana’s Defense Ministry to supply medical equipment and vehicles, and to construct two complexes housing the Ghanaian army’s headquarters and the Defense Industries Holding Company’s offices.

The second MoU was signed with Egyptian National Organization for Military Production (NOMP) DIHOC to promote industrial cooperation between Egypt and Ghana through setting up factories to manufacture
Solar Panels, Prepaid Smart Meters, and Disposable syringes.

“Collectively, these projects will assist the country to enhance and develop the health, transportation, industrial, and construction sectors. Trade volume between both nations stands at $101.2 million, signing
these MoUs will pave the way for increased intra-African trade and international investments in the country. With Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi chairing the African Union, these MoU’s are in line
with his agenda’s targets,” Apex said in a statement.
