Inter Allies lost a fourth league in a row as they lost by 1-0 against Asante Kotoko on Wednesday night during Week 12 of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra sports stadium.

Guinean Naby Keita Laye converted a 68th minute penalty to condemn Allies to an 8th defeat of the season as both sides struggled to create any decent goal-scoring chances after the hour mark. The game was the first start of Keita this season after starting the campaign behind Kwame Poku, William Opoku Mensah and Osman Ibrahim.

Poku was brought down in the box by defender Isah Ali and Keita made no mistakes from the spot.

The win takes Kotoko to 3rd position on 20 points on the league table after 12 games.

The Porcupine Warriors will travel to Anyinase to play league leaders Karela United FC this weekend.
