Asante Kotoko will depart Accra for Nigeria on Thursday ahead of their CAF Champions League game with Kano Pillars this weekend.
Dailymailgh.com understands that the Porcupine Warriors will be in Accra early this week to train at the Asamoah Gyan Astro Turf Pitch at Accra Academy before they move on August 8 to Northern Nigeria for the clash.
Kotoko need to get a good results in Kano on Saturday to make the return leg in Ghana next two weeks a match easier task.
According to close sources, some officials of Kotoko are already in Kano doing grounds work for the safe arrival of the team on Thursday.
The first leg game between the Reds and Kano Pillars will be played at the 16,000 capacity Sani Abacha Stadium.
