Ghana Premier League club Asante Kotoko have sacked goalkeeper Muntari Tagoe after just one year at the club, communication director Sarfo Doku told Dailymailgh.com.

According to Doku, the former Medeama safest pair of hands has been shown the exit door after a decision was taken by the club officials.

“It is true that we’ve parted ways with Tagoe and we thank him for his services to the club and also wish him well”, he said.

Tagoe’s only competitive outing for Kotoko came in the team’s game against Nkoranza Warriors in the Ghana Football Association Normalization Committee tournament.
