Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC have officially confirmed the signing of former Accra Hearts of Oak SC defender Mohammed Alhassan.

The Reds have added the ex-Phobian to their ranks as they push for the 2022-23 Ghana Premier League title after winning the title last season.

He helped the Rainbow Boys to win the President’s Cup, back-to-back MTN FA Cup championships, and the Ghana Premier League during the 2020–21 season after 12 years before leaving Hearts.

On Thursday, February 9, Kotoko announced on their social media channels that they had finished the player’s signing, with a formal declaration to follow.

He played at the WAFU tournament in Senegal for the Black Galaxies and was a key member during the qualifiers for the 2022 CHAN tournament in Algeria.
