Asenso-Boakye endorses NAPO for Vice President in 2024 election bid

Roads Minister Francis Asenso-Boakye has thrown his weight behind Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh aka Napo, as the preferred running mate to Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for the 2024 presidential election.

Known for his influential role within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) the Bantama MP praised Dr. Prempeh’s dedication and capabilities, affirming that he brings a blend of hard work, intelligence, and compassion to the table.

“As a friend, brother, and senior colleague, I have witnessed firsthand Dr. Prempeh’s unwavering commitment to our party and country,” Asenso-Boakye stated in a post sighted by dailymailgh.com.

“His track record of achievement and leadership speaks volumes, and I am confident that his nomination will strengthen our campaign and resonate positively with voters.”

The endorsement comes as Dr. Bawumia prepares to present Dr. Opoku Prempeh’s candidacy to the NPP National Council, marking a crucial step towards finalizing the party’s leadership lineup for the upcoming election.

Asenso-Boakye urged party members to unite behind Dr Bawumia’s decision, emphasizing the importance of solidarity in securing victory in the forthcoming election.
