A deputy chief of Staff, Francis Asenso-Boakye, has praised his boss, President Nana Akufo-Addo, for the effective manner he has managed the Covid-19 so far.
According to him, the president has showed unique leadership, commitment and desire by implementing the best of policies in order to contain the spread of the virus.
In this regard, Asenso-Boakye has urged the populace to also do their part in order to defeat the virus totally, saying that the fight against the virus is a collective effort.
“The president has taken the appropriate steps and implement the best of policies to defeat the virus so let us also do our part”, he told journalists in Kumasi.
Voters Registration Exercise
Asenso-Boakye, who is the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Bantama for the 2020 polls, registered in the ongoing voter registration exercise at Bantama on the day.
He said he was impressed about the high patronage that the exercise has enjoyed in Bantama and other places, urging the people to continue to patronage the exercise.
Covid-19 Education
The Deputy Chief of Staff also admonished Ghanaians, especially the potential registrants, to strictly adhere to health protocols in order to stay safe from the Covid-19.
He particular charged the citizenry to exercise social distancing, wear face mask and also wash their hands with running water and soap, among others, all the time.
Free Face Mask
Asenso-Boakye as part of his efforts to prevent the spread of the virus, presented quantities of face masks and sanitizers, to a sizeable number of people at Bantama.
According to him, the presentation shows that he is determined to play roles to help defeat the virus in Bantama, promising to present more face masks later on.
