Ashaiman: Six suspects arrested over murder of soldier to face court today – Police

The Ghana Police Service has confirmed the arrest of six people for their involvement in the suspected murder of Trooper Imoro Sheriff, an officer with the Ghana Armed Forces.

The suspects were arrested following an intelligence-led operation days after the soldier was found lifeless at Ashaiman Taifa in the Greater Accra Region on March 4.

They have been named Safianu Musah also known as Dayorgu, Ibrahim Abdul Rakib, Samuel Tetteh aka ‘Wiper’ and Abubakar Sadick alias ‘Birdman’. The others are Yussif Mohammed and Abdul Gafaru Abdul Karim.

The suspects would be arraigned today, Monday, March 13, a statement from the police indicated.
