Police at Ejisu have begun investigations after the home of the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) was burgled.
Mr Kingsley E. Hope was not at home when the gang stormed his Ejisu residence Friday night.
Reports say the robbers ransacked his room and made away with laptops, 60 wax prints, bags and unspecified amounts of money.
Dailymailgh.com gathers the popular reporter and Editor of the Ghanaian Times newspaper is cooperating with the police as part of their investigations.
Starr FM reporter robbed
The latest development comes days after a popular journalist in the Upper East Region was also robbed by unidentified gang.
A TV set was made away by the robbers when they stormed Mr Edward Adeti’s house in Bolgatanga.
The Starr FM reporter had earlier received several death threats after his investigative piece forced Mr Rockson Bukari, a former Upper East Regional Minister to resign from the Akufo-Addo government.
Mr Bukari until his resignation was Minister of State in charge of Special Duties at the Office of the President.
