The incident was reported by Alex Sarfo Kantanka, chairman of the Juaben NPP after he was informed by the security guard, Edward Kwame Okyere, early that morning.
A team of police officers from the Kumasi regional headquarters have swiftly visited the scene, a source familiar with the development confirmed to Asaaseradio.com.
Their initial inspection revealed that the intruders had used a wooden ladder to scale the wall and gain access to the premises.
They caused significant damage to the reception area, where they located and stole several office keys from a drawer.
The secretary, chairman and Member of Parliament’s offices were also unlocked where six Nasco 42-inch television sets from these rooms were also taken, a police source told asaaseradio.com.
A screwdriver and a party T-shirt behind the fence wall were also discovered prompting the police to collect fingerprints from the sliding windows of the various offices as part of investigations.
