Obuasi Ashantigold recorded a 1-0 win over Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday.

The Black and Yellows secured their first win after two successive defeats in the Ghana Premier League 2019-20 season.

After suffering a back-to-back 1-0 losses to Berekum Chelsea at home and away to Medeama last Sunday, the Miners scrapped past strugglers Ebusua Dwarfs at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.

Bottom placed side Ebusua Dwarfs held the home team to a goalless first 45 minutes to go into the recess on level pecking.

Samed Ibrahim proved to be the difference in the game as his only goal in the 75th minutes grabbed all three points for the home team.

Ashantigold will travel to the Accra to take on Hearts of Oak on Thursday afternoon in the capital.

Dwarfs remain bottom of the league log after suffering six defeats in seven games.
