Obuasi Ashantigold have parted ways with head coach Ricardo Da Rocha on mutual consent.

The Brazilian gaffer does not have the required documents to lead a Premier League team in Ghana after the FA implemented the Club licencing regulations in the country.

Da Rocha led the Miners in their short journey during the preliminary stages of this year’s CAF Confederation Cup.

The former Ebusua Dwarfs coach has agreed with the Yellow and Blacks to leave after a mutual agreement was reached a day before the confirmation of his departure.

Assistant coach Yakubu Sheriff Mambo will lead the Obuasi-based club in their opening game on Sunday against Accra Great Olympics at the Len Clay Sports Stadium.
