Head coach of Obuasi Ashantigold SC Ricardo da Rocha says his side’s overall performance as a team over the past few weeks has improved.
The Brazilian was speaking to the press after his side 2-0 win in a friendly against Desire Academy at the Ofori Stadium in Obuasi.
“We are better than before and we are looking more sharper and clinical in front of goal”, he said.
“There’s a massive change in performance from the whole team which is a big signal for greatness ahead of the season”.
“We are now stronger than we were some weeks back and I am very confident of our progression to the next stage of the CAF Confederation Cup competition”, Da Rocha added.
Ashgold will lock horns with Akonangui FC of Equatorial Guinea on Saturday 24th August at the Len Clay Sports Stadium at 3 pm.
