Ghana Premier League side Obuasi Ashantigold will play their first ever CAF Confederation Cup on August 10, 2019.
The date was confirmed and communicated by CAF after Akonangui FC of Equatorial Guinea communicated to their opponents about the dates for the first round of the preliminary game.
The much anticipated game is scheduled to take place at the EBEBIYIN Stadium in Equatorial Guinea at 15:00 GMT.
The Miners qualified to participate in the tournament for the first time in the history of the club after winning the tier 2 of the NC Special Cup Competition at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium with a 1-0 victory over Nzema Kotoko.
The Black and Yellow side will travel to Equatorial Guinea three days before the game takes place, according to our source.
