Ghana international Andre Ayew returned to football with a bang as he scored and assisted in Swansea City’s heavy win.

The Ghana Black Stars captain put his speed to test when he exchanged a give and go passes with Rhian Brewster on the halfway line before setting up the latter to make it 1-0 to the visitors on the 17th minutes mark.

The Liverpool loanee, Brewster, added the second three minutes later after scoring the opener for The Jacks half way through the first 45 minutes.

The 30-year-old Ghanaian forward made it 3-0 from the spot on the 34th minute after Conor Gallagher was brought down inside the box.

Ayew, who’s the top scorer for the Swans this campaign has 13 goals and five assists to his account.

Swansea recorded an important win on the road to keep them in the race for a top six after thrashing Middlesborough in the English Championship on Saturday at lunchtime.

Ayew was substituted nine minutes to full time with Bersant Celina replacing him in Swansea’s 3-0 win at Middlesbrough.
