Founder of defunct Radio Gold, Sainti Baffoe-Bonnie, is reported dead in Accra on Monday 1 February 2021.
Popularly known as Baboo, Baffoe-Bonnie played a pioneering role in private radio station ownership in Ghana in the Fourth Republic.
The cause of his death is not yet known.
The station, which is aligned to opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) was shut down in May 2019 over nonpayment of regulatory charges.
