German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are willing to keep Ghanaian striker Akwasi Okyere-Wriedt despite serious interest from a host of clubs.
Newly-promoted English Premiership side Norwich as well as Hertha Berlin have already made a bid for the free-scoring forward but the Bavarians are not willing to let him move.
Dailymailgh.com can reveal that manager Niko Kovac is very impressed with Okyere-Wriedt’s goal scoring prowess in the Bayer second team and is ready to give him the chance as a squad player in the main side.
Okyere-Wriedt’s contract expires on June 30, 2020 and talks have already begun for extension.
He netted 24 goals in 34 games this ended season and was voted as the Regionaliga player of the season.
