Berekum Chelsea 1-3 Inter Allies: Adebayor’s brace tames leaders

Berekum Chelsea lost 1-3 to Inter Allies on Saturday in the Ghana Premier League, marking their first home defeat in the local top flight.

Allies captain Victorien Adebayor opened the scoring in the 32nd minute with a free kick which managed to beat the home team’s goalkeeper.

Samuel Armah doubled the visitors’ advantage three minutes after the recess to make it 2-0.

The home team reduced the deficit when Augustine Henneh struck on the 62nd minute.

Adebayor restored the away side’s two goals advantage in the 84th minute to secure all three points for the Accra-based side.

The game ended 1-3 to the visitors to record their second away win of the season.
