Betika has announced a GHC 1.3M partnership with Asante Kotoko in a two-year partnership deal effective 11 November 2021. This partnership grants Betika full rights as Asante Kotoko official betting partner.
The sponsorship deal was announced by the fastest growing gaming firm in Ghana, which aims to invest in the youth by nurturing talent through sports, arts, and culture.
Under the sponsorship, Asante Kotoko will be receiving about GHC630,000 per annum and in-kind provision of balls, nets, and other sports equipment. Through the sponsorship, Betika will seek to nurture and improve the club’s visibility and help scout for talent from other grassroot football activities across the country.
Speaking during the announcement of the partnership, Rupen Samani, Chief Executive Officer of Betika said, “Asante Kotoko is the biggest club in Ghana, no doubt. And for us, it’s the third biggest club in Africa, and we are happy to have created this partnership. This partnership confirms our commitment to invest in the youth and in the country through sports, arts and culture with football being a key focus.”
