Bidvest release Ghana’s Gyimah

South African Absa Premiership club Bidvest Wits have officially part ways with Ghanaian international Edwin Gyimah, Dailymailgh.com can reveal.

The aggressive centre-back’s career with the Clever Boys came to an end in midweek as the club released him and five other players namely Darren Keet, Denis Weildlich, Vuyo Mere, Bantu Mzwakali and Daylon Claasen.

Gyimah joined Bidvest in 2018 and made only five league appearances last season as they finished third on the league log.

The 28-year-old has previously featured for Mpumalanga Black Aces, SuperSports United, Orlando Pirates as well as Swedish outfit Helsingborg IF.
