Black Meteors winger Abass powers Utrecht to KNVB Cup next stage

Ghanaian winger Issah Abass scored in the Dutch KNVB Cup game against Groningen on Thursday.

The former Asokwa Deportivo starlet netted the only goal of the game to send Utrecht through to the next round of the competition.

Abass came on as a sub to score the winner on the 68th minute to power Utrecht to victory and send them to the third round of the Dutch KNVB Cup competition.

The 21-year -old Ghanaian was part of the Ghana Black Meteors team that failed to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics games in Egypt a couple of month ago.
