Black Stars B winger Augustine Okrah is elated after winning the man of the match award in Ghana’s 5-4 penalty shootout win over Burkina Faso in the 2019 WAFU tournament in Senegal.
Okrah was in full force in Thies as he tormented the Burkinabe lateral defenders with his pace and artistry.
The Asante Kotoko player took to his official Twitter page to show his delight as Ghana reached the last four.
“I’m glad to have won the Man of the Match award yesterday [Friday] as Ghana sailed through to the semifinals of WAFU Cup of Nations against Burkina Faso,” Okrah tweeted.
Ghana equalized through skipper Shafiu Mumuni in the 39th minute to push the game to penalties after Ilina Teindrebeogo had given the Stallions a 3rd minute lead.
