The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially parted ways with the coach of the Black Stars Chris Hughton following the team’s early exit at the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
The decision was made by the GFA’s executive council, which also took the bold step to dissolve the entire technical team of the Black Stars.
Hughton’s departure signals a major shift in the strategic direction of the national team. The GFA has assured the public that in the coming days, they will unveil a comprehensive roadmap outlining the future trajectory of the Black Stars.
The Black Stars could only secure two points after losing their opening game against Cape Verde and drawing with Egypt and Mozambique.
