Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton names squad for AFCON qualifier against Madagascar

Ghana’s Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton has named his 24-man squad for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar.

The Ghanaian trainer has invited three goalkeepers, that is Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Josephine Luke Wollacott and Abdul Manaf Nurudeen.

He has also given Nicholas Mensah of Amiens SC a chance to shine with the Black Stars team again after his injury.

Ghana’s new sensation Ernest Nuamah of FC Nordsjaelland in the Denmark Superliga and Kwasi Okyere Wriedt have all been included in the squad for the upcoming clash.

The Black Stars Coach has selected a 24-player group for the trip to Antananarivo on Sunday, June 18, 2023.
