Ghana’s Bono Region is the latest to confirm a Coronavirus case, according to the Ghana Health Service.
This sends the total number of regions with recorded cases to 13. Three others namely; Savannah, Ahafo and Bono East regions are yet to record a case.
The case in the Bono Region was detected in the Jaman North District. These developments were contained in the latest update on the Ghana Health Service (GHS) website today May 07, 2020.
According to the Ghana Health Service, a total of 137,924 tests have been done so far.
The update also added that the number of recovered persons has increased to 303 from the previous 294.
Regional Breakdown
The Greater Accra still leads with 2,579 cases, followed by the Ashanti Region with 165 and the Eastern Region with 95.
