The National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sammy Gyamfi is on the warpath with his National Youth Organizer-elect George Opare Addo, deepening what appears to be an internal feud within the opposition party.

Mr Gyamfi openly campaigned for his friend Yaw Brogya Genfi in a fierce contest between Opare Addo in the just-ended Women and Youth elections at the University of Cape Coast.

Opare Addo who is not happy with Sammy Gyamfi’s utterances prior to the contest has launched a scathing attack on the NDC spokesperson adding that he [Sammy Gyamfi] has become an obstacle he has to deal with.

“Yes, Sammy Gyamfi has now become an obstacle in my way and this is my second term I will not joke! I will cut away anybody who stands in my way as an obstacle. It is the only action that we will see. Action action action….” Mynewsgh.com quoted Opare Addo who was speaking on Accra-based Power FM as saying.

“Ask Sammy Gyamfi how he built a house at Airport Hills, what work does he do?” He further asked.

But Mr Gyamfi has been reacting to the development and vowed to respond in equal measure adding that he committed no crime endorsing Brogya Genfi’s candidature.

“@georgeoaddo I committed no crime in supporting @BrogyaGenfi over you in the just-ended NYO elections”, Gyamfi tweeted. “If this is the route you want to take, then bring it on. At the right time, you will get a befitting response to all the lies and gibberish you have been spewing since yesterday”.
