Dutch striker of Ghanaian descent Brian Brobbey says his main aim is to maintain a place in the Ajax senior team.
Brobbey, 17, is currently having preseason with the senior side and he could be one of the players manager Erik Ten Haag could use for next season.
The talented teenager mentioned that his dream is to maintain his place in the Ajax senior team and also score a UEFA Champions League winning goal for his side.
“My dream is to book my place in the first team and also score the winning goal when we are in the champions league final. But just scoring at the Johan Cruijff Arena will be wonderful,” Brobbey told Ajax.nl
“I like to see that I am recognized during games. When I am on the field and the fans shout my name; Brobbey, Brobbey, Brobbey it gives me a certain spirit to go all out.”
Brobbey further revealed that because of how he plays, people even forget that he is just 17 and he knows he won’t have it easy at the senior side training camp.
“People sometimes don’t remember I am 17, after the European championship I was down, but now I have to get my acts together. I know is not going to be easy. The sessions are tough but I will get used to it.”
The budding forward netted 11 goals and provided two assists in 14 games for the Ajax Under 19 team last season.
