Burnley have registered English-born Ghanaian attacker Dan Agyei for the 2019/2020 EPL season, despite contract extension negotiations still going on.
Agyei’s initial four-year deal with the Clarets ended on June 30, 2019 and despite being injured, talks are ongoing for him to append his signature to a new one.
Dailymailgh.com understands that Burnley manager Sean Dyche is so keen on Agyei and has officially included him in his first team squad for the coming season as the talks continue.
Agyei, who is mainly with the Burnley Under 23 side in the Premier League II featured on loan at Walsall and Blackpool in the 2017/2018 season where he made 27 appearances, scoring four goals.
Born to Ghanaian players in London, the 22-year-old striker is yet to be capped at any level by Ghana or England.
