Ghana Premier League powerhouse Accra Hearts of Oak SC will play their first game in the ongoing CAF Champions League preliminary round of matches today.
The Phobians will face the Yellow and Greens at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, September 19 for a place in the playoffs spot.
Hearts of Oak won the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League league wiles Kamsar finished second in the Guinea Ligue 1 behind AS Horoya.
The first leg was canceled due to political unrest in Guinea after a coup d’état which resulted in CAF’s decision to honour the single tie elimination game in Accra.
Incase of a stalemate at the end of the regulation time, there would be no extra time as the game will head straight into penalty shootouts as communicated by the Organizers of the competition.
Hearts will host the Guinean club this afternoon and the winner of the tie will play WAC of Morocco in the playoffs spot for a place in the 2021-22 CAF Champions League group stage.
Ghana’s biggest television station GTV Sports Plus will show the game live at 3pm.
